LibriVox longer used, but not the two books I read in this time for the class. I read "The Price of Salt" by Patricia Highsmith, and "Sons and Lovers" by DH Lawrence.
Do you know other sites that offer free audio you can listen or download the file on my computer.

Ask at your local library. Most of these books are "very much about the band. Furthermore, in Kansas, we have access to an online library containing hundreds of audio books are available for download. Your local librarian should be able to one of the possibilities to help.
Have you heard of Microsoft Reader?

If the text or PDF versions of the books you want to see, read aloud to hear Microsoft Reader. The voice is a bit hectic and monotonous, but actually not so bad once you get used to it.
