I have no idea what direction are these people, and to be honest) not my (or your company.
But I would say, "Transgender" is an orientation, you are heterosexual or gay / lesbian and bisexual and "transgender".
"Transgender" describes a person, man or woman who dresses, behaves or presents in a way that differs from the standard type. Most people "transgender" are transvestites / crossdresser (including Drag Queens / Kings), but also social and androgynous "gender queer" (and contrary to the claim by some transgender activists were not transgender).
I just wanted to clarify this point.
